What are some good resources for learning first aid techniques?

It depends on how specific the knowledge you wish to gain is.
For general Information, you can watch you tube videos on first aid or buy a basic first aid book from any bookstore.
Personally, I would recommend the first aid book published by St.
John's Ambulance Service as it is comprehensive and comes with a lot of illustrations for easier understanding by lay people.
If you want international certification, I would recommend the American heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid Training Course.
It covers a wide range of First Aid Topics including intensive CPR and AED practice.
