the biggest set back happens to be over commit and under deliver, first and foremost honour your promises, go out of the way to exceed their expectations  by understanding the needs. 

Keep them informed , communicate , educate , respond in a timely manner. 

Never take them for granted , mostly the problem faced is retention of Clients as once they are loyal customers they are taken for granted unless they are in top20% pool of revenue contributor.
