What are some conditions that stimulate goal-oriented thought processes?

On a professional level: a Project for example, many stimulations:
1- Kind of project (Challenging or not)
2- Estimated Budget and estimated earned value
3- Working with Professional supporting team players who are carefully chosen (this doesn't mean that they all have to be technically powerful)
4- One of the most important conditions are the Client/Customer objectives which are the key factors for the goal stimulation
5- To achieve my important part in the stimulation that can be briefed in; Team motivation, proper mobilization, proper transportation, proper salary..
and promotion probability for the goal achievers
