What is key task analysis? definition and meaning

Task analysis describes how a given task is accomplished. Task analysis typically includes a detailed graphical mapping of the user's physical and cognitive actions, system states (hardware and/or software), information used and decision processes. 

Key Task Analys is : Study of a set of operation(s) to determine the level of performance required, time taken, the quality of the outcomes, and quality of the total job or project. Also called key results analysis, it is employed usually in the training of managerial or supervisory level employees.

Key Task Analysis is the process of determining step by step procedure on how a certain task is to be completed

 

1-      What is new projects coming,

2-      Analyzing  of   market development.

3-      Target analyses,

4-      Comparison last year data with existing data. (Monthly, quarterly, yearly, customer wise, Area wise,  product wise with value & volume.)

5-      Sales plan ,

6-      Study  the existing competing brands as well as market study.

7-      Payment collection.

Task referes to day to day work by the bottom level staff. However, this means repetative work.

It's a process of analysing  key indicators  in order to determine the level of performance, time taken to accomplish the tasks, and the quality. Basically it is  a performance  indicator (KPI). Measurement of performance against key index i.e set targets.
