Both are important yet quality is more important if you want to not only maintain the interest of your current clients, but to gain new ones. If you keep pushing large quantities of irrelevant or repetitive data, you will lose your clients and you will lose major market shares.

QUANTITY!!!!
Quality is subjective. What interests one person may not interest another. Quantity will keep people coming back. Be consistent and deliver new material daily.
HOWEVER, this doesn't mean you should slack on quality. You should still deliver material that will please MOST people. Though you can't keep EVERYONE happy all the time you should keep them happy MOST of the time.
both are equally important but yes if someone holds a gun at my head and asks me to choose one it will be quality, remember an advert you've seen ones and it had more impact on you than hundred others, one ad that you can not forget? think as a customer...quality matters, plus it gives value to your product...I see a lot of car commercials but rarely I've seen good brands doing much advert...whenever they do its different and works for them.

Both.
However, Quality is directly related to profitability. Quantity can be scaled up and down on two factors:
- Achieving profitability, for example cost per click
- Maximizing Profitability, this defines spent and eventually quantity
I hope this makes sense!
I care about Quantity and some Quality - The more i spread online the more juice i get from various sources. Little Gray and Some Blue Hat does not hurt as long as i stay from Uncle G big no no 's
Quantity is definitely the key, in Digital Marketing it is very important to engage the people you are targeting, without quality you simply wouldn't be able to engage. Excessive quantity in my opinion could even backfire when it comes to Digital Marketing.

For me using the or word is not an option.
I'll go with both, quality is a major issue, while providing the right quantity in the right time is a major measure of the digital marketing campaign/strategy quality.
For example, providing a unique article every 30 days isn't very good, users will use their attention to your blog, while posting a FB or twitter post every 5 minutes is spammy.
You can get the best results through a quality post in the right time/times in social media for example.
