Having to retract a letter of resignation can be one of the most difficult and embarrassing things you will ever have to do in your professional career.
You can withdraw your resignation as long as it has not been accepted and the same intimated to you in writing. You are within your rights to withdraw your resignaion.
It is great question. I happens to me once. I was SR. Manager IT in big financial institution. So I resigned due to one other manager. When Director came to know situation, he changed manger and requested me to take my resignation back.
It all depends on the reason of resign.
That would expose you a lot.You are likely to find yourself cornered because it shows that you take rushy decisions and at most very undecided.I dread to imagine the scenario and situation you will find yourself in.
I would never do that in my senses. You need to plan your resignation as it is the last step in the work cycle of the company you are associated with.
no
I would not and suggest that it should be avoided. One will have to learn to be very sure about taking major decisions like this. If once failed, let be as taken, it will be a learning.
If the company is relied on the person, and on the requisition made by the company it can be withdrawn.
When done, it is done ...
No one ever resigns in haste. It takes months to decide whether to stay with a company while compromising or to quit so whoever once decides and submits resignation can never have the same esteem in the eyes of peers or senior management. If the employee has any concerns then before submission of resignation he/she must try to persuade management about the issues and concerns that may lead towards resignation.
Only if they accept my terms and demands.
IN BUSINESS YOU CAN NOT DETERMINE HARD & FAST RULES,,,,, DEPENDS ON SITUATION, TIME , REASON OF RESIGN , BOSS ATTITUDE , HAVE A NEW BETTER OPPURTUNITY......
