using low temp.and low pressure refrigerant gas from evaporator (on suction side) and compressing it (discharge side) to high temp. and high pressure -sending to condenser (water or air cooled) transfering this gas to liquid and sending to piping and metering device (TEV,TExV or capillary tube) (on entrance of evaporator) where it expandes and takes heat from surrounding air (space).
