Is it necessary for an effective CFO to be a good financial manager ?

Yes Muhammad, to speak broadly a CFO must have a good back ground of financial management. As he is supposed to take care of Three broad decisions:

1- Investing decisions

2-Fianancing decisitions

3-managing of assets

4-Reporting

5-Controlling

All these roles require financial management expertise.

I think yes, because he is entitled to take financial and non financial decisions.
