There are official annual rankings of world brands using different methodologies & criteria. I'd go for the following from Internet, High-tech, Food, Communication, Transportation & Energy sectors:

10. Royal Dutch Shell

In my opinion the respectable corporate brands should enjoy some of qualities like :-

1- active customers service and after sale follow.

2- real guarantee for goods and services.

3- excellent product quality with competitive price.

In brands names we have many names in each different fields.

If you ask me from my point of view I will vote for "Google" to be the most public respect company world wide bas on number of factors from management changes to product offerings.

Has Google achieved10-Top rank on the below measures:-

1- Brand Performance.

2- Brand Popularity.

3- Brand Sustainability.

4- Brand Value.

5- Customer Satisfaction.

That's why I beleive that "Google" deserve to be number #1 the most respected brand and let's focus on their products to understand more how they support our life on daily basis..

I also think Google is one of the greatest companies on this planet. It's seriously awesome. To prove it, we have10 slides on why the company rules...

1- Google search is mind bendingly awesome.

2- Google Maps are even better than Google search.

3- A little something we call "self-driving cars".

4- Another little something we call "Google Glass".

5- Android, for all its flaws, is a wonderful concept.

6- The fact that all of Google's services are pretty much free.

7- Google has generated countless entrepreneurs.

8- Google made sick perks standard for startups.

9- Google has spent almost $1 billion on alternative energy research.

10- Google is fighting hard in DC to keep the Internet free.

11- Google is single handedly keeping slide manufacturers in business.

I think all what I mentioned above enough to prove that Google is the most respected corporate brand.

Every brand which is meaning ful to me and useful to me, its not mandatory that it should be a big brand.
