WITHOUT SENSE OF HUMOUR,,, NO SALT IN LIFE,,,,,, PEOPLE NEED THAT IN THEIR PRESSURE/ TENSE TIME......... AGREED , HAVE IT & GIVE SMILES TO PEOPLE AROUND YOU..........
It refreshes people's mood, and and makes the working environment pleasurable. When people are happy, their productivity is higher than normal...
Sense of Humour is essential to have a stress free working environment but should be occassionally only considering the surrounding circumstances and situations. Without sence of Humour the work could be done but you always will be on stress and mentally tired even after working hours.
Proportional sense of humour is everything in workplace.
It can be ice breaking of cold, difficult and hard situations. It brings new ideas sometimes unintetionally and spontanously (relax mind gives fresh thinking). Supporting employees (team) engagement. And for me, I really need it after giving warning speech to students, so they will feel comfort after that and didnt keep on clumsy situations.
Sometimes good sense of humour has a refreshing affect during breaks.
Sense of humor is essential not just in workplace, but in life. I think it's the most important characteristic to have as a person. In workplace, it's normal to be not in the mood sometimes, that's when you started to get cranky and it seems like your whole day is ruined, it suddenly affects your job and some of your co-workers, which is not a good sign. When that happened, a sense of humor is all you need just to turn your day around. People love to be around with someone who has a good sense of humor. I love being surrounded by happy people, it makes my job easily done at its best. Always remember that laughter is contagious.
Humour must be a part of work, not all the time but in a limit
At works -
Sense of Humour is like taking Tea
Seriousness is like taking main course of Food
As a Filipino, sense of humour is part of my life. Not only me. Wherever and in whatever situation you put a Filipino, he/she always finds an opportunity to apply sense of humour - even in difficult times. In Filipino offices, expect to find cheerful employees, staff, and even officers and managers. Sense of humour is our way of getting by and coping up in adverse situation. It's a seldom occurrence when you see a grumpy Filipino!
