How could we explain word mechanical designing?

It is way of designing by which mechanical engineers / draftsman's design products in (CAD) programs and create instructions for manufacturing parts.
Instructions for manufacturing a part must be fed to the necessary machinery, either manually, or through programmed instructions, or through the use of a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) ,combined CAD/CAM program.
