Not so much the price but rather "Value for Money". My old Grandad used to say "you get what you pay for", meaning if you buy cheap the quality will not be very good etc and that, generally speaking, is true.
It will base on how practical you are. The things you buy will depend if it is a want or a need, then that's the time you decide if the price matters.
