Listen to people completely, if you can, before responding. If you have to interrupt, for example, because the other person is being long-winded, try to summarize your understanding first. People sometimes express themselves differently than you expect. If you fail to listen, you might find yourself responding not to the other person's actual position, but only to what you thought the other person's position was.
The more you understand someone's position, the more you may understand their concerns -- and the more likely you can resolve the disagreement. In fact, before responding with your own position, consider paraphrasing the other person's position and concerns first. Doing so sends a powerful message. Even more important, emphasize first those matters upon which you and the other person agree.
Defintly i would believe strongly in my idea, the question is does it really benefit the work/the company and not harming the people working in it. If so, i can present it clearly, argue about it. if they insist and killed it, there is nothing i can, but to try to apply on small scale (upon the tasks i perform) and let my work do the talking.
Take everything positive...this always happens.
In my6th Standard I vote for My friend for the Class leader election--the vote count was only1 and my friend was totally defeated. But in the next year (7th std. He was the class leader as also the School people leader).....So I was more happy.
Good Day!!!
If those who rejects/oppose your recommendation are not baised with you (on person grounds), I would recommend you to review your idea......... There must be a loop hole so a vast majority is opposing it.....
You do your best only put the idea which is in your mind
