== Proficiency is not just a word you can say it for yourself or may be your boss at work flattering you with, so as to enrich the seeds of positive competitions between your colleagues and/or to elevate the spirit of creative working and team spirit among them, and including you.
Proficiency is what you feel that you’re expert in and capable to do it adeptly, and eventually you will get the essential success in the required tasks you performed and proceed the progress you plan in your life career.
== From my little experience, which I think most of us have already attempted this and will concur my opinion, the most essential skills which can support any employee through his/her life career and raise the level of his/her performance at work can be presented in THREE skills.
Frankly, I don't want to be unfair with other skills which also are necessary for each employee to have, but some particular skills have the priority over others and can effectively participate in their activation: -
1- Communications Skills: the one skill mentioned most often by employers is the ability to listen, write, and speak effectively.
Successful communication is critical in business.
Exceptional listener and communicator is the one who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.

2- Teamwork skill working together with your Interpersonal abilities; because so many jobs involve working in one or more work-groups, you must have the ability to: - Work with others in a professional manner while attempting to achieve a common goal.
- Relate to your co-workers, inspire others to participate, and mitigate conflict with co-workers is essential given the amount of time spent at work each day.
We should know that resourceful team player is the one who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.

3- Problem-Solving/Reasoning/Creativity.
This involves your ability to find solutions to problems using your creativity, reasoning, and past experiences along with the available information and resources.
In order to be innovative problem-solver, you have to generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
= Once you have and also practice those skills, you will get the advantage in acquiring as well as elevating your levels in having the following skills: Computer/Technical Literacy; Analytical/Research Skills; Flexibility/Adaptability/Managing Multiple Priorities; Planning/Organizing; Leadership/Management Skills; and Multicultural Sensitivity/Awareness.
