My case is similar to brother Zafar Abbas. I started using it to search jobs, and then started participating in specialties.. I like to share my experiences, knowledge with others, and similary I learn a lot from good questions and answers from experts.. So, it's for both job search and improving my skills..

In order of prevalance:

1. Testing, sharing & enriching my knowledge.
2. Networking with interesting professionals.
3. Acquaintance with M.E. job market.
4. Job search.

Everyone comes on this site to search job but then he finds himself questioning and answering about his skills and conversing with new friends. It helps to develop a friendly and respectful relationship among the members and no one wants to leave it for nothing.

Indeed dialogue is the key to most of the issues and I personally feel that we get much on this forum.
