Is AutoCAD Still Relevant?

I was asking this because I am still a beginner in Revit. In Revit you can do drafting in a limited ways but has a lot of improvements. When it comes to3d modeling, Revit has a lot to offer.

I think AutoCAD is still relevant in terms of on site drafting/editing of plans.

Editing the model for immediate or quick changes is not possible in Revit unless you have a good grasp with the software.

When it comes to3D modelling, yes hands down, Revit has potential, but for inter-operability and compatibility with other softwares, it's not on par with AutoCAD on that area.

Of course. AutoCad is still relevant, especially in2D. I think the best software for shop drawings is AutoCad.

As an Architect AUTOCAD still Relevant because usually it is our tool for designing our2D concept base lines that will be converted to3D model by the outstanding Revit which used after that for coordination by all the team and producing the final product including its full details2D &3D
