Well. I'd tell you a couple strategies that I use.
1. No-nonse approach. Minimalist presentation. In this, you assume your audience is well informed and educated and doesn't need much explanation. You directly get to the major points and make conclusions and showcase your reasons. It's quick and simple for people looking for direct answers. This may be appropriate for presenting to your company board.
2. The Persuasive One: This is where your aim is not informing someone about a research done. This is where you want to presuade and convince your audience to buy or invest. In this you would want to use cues by which you can relate to the audience. You can't have the same no-nonsense approach in this which is quick and to the point. You want a lot of examples, more graphics and you have to find ways to emotionally connect with your audienct. Mainly the standard used here is to highlight a problem or potential problem that your audience may be facing and how your product is the cure.
3. Information Dissemination: This is when you are breifing or training your team. The same approach here as the persuasive one however less drama and more orders! Haha.
Goodluck!
