I s it possible that an under ground pipeline segment can be burred with col tar epoxy coating instead of PE coating? Does Code allow it?

Yes, It can be. Coal Tar epoxy coating can be applied instead of PE coating before burring an underground pipeline. The thickness of Coal tar Epoxy Paint will be at least700 microns. and code API1104 allowed it.

yes it is but its now an old way but it still can be used
