Mostly, people understand that presentation means a laptop, projector and data with pictures. It’s not simply reading/showing the data and info. The presentation will have a different template according to the purpose of the presentation. In short, the presentation should make the buyer to understand thoroughly what you want to say and it should make the deal.

Respected sir,
Presentation is a two way communication between the presenter and the audience. Presenter need to b cum and cool while giving up the presentation and presentation need to carry real and true facts which he or she can deliver to the audience .
Show casing, your, " Talent", to " Large Audience", about your skills, and " Intelligence", and making them, understand, about your, product,. is called " Presentation".
The most essential things need to keep in mind from the content point of view are:
- Who is the audience and why are they there
- What is their expectation/concern/objective or what do you need to tell them
- What impression or expectation do you want to leave them with
- How can you benefit them or what can you offer to add value
- How can you validate your content- pictures, comparison charts, data, videos, testimonials etc.
These for me will be the general guidelines. The details will vary depending on whether the presentation is aimed at selling something to customers or is it just a training/seminar. Keep it precise & simple but rich in content with good aesthetics and fine delivery and you will win the audience over.
Presentation consists2 aspects:
1. How does the presentation attract the audiences. the way you present.
2. What's the stuff you present with regards to the objectives of the subject.
I mean about the2nd one. ie, the factors to be taken care of.
