How would you handle the expired refrigerated materials when its expire date occurs?would you keep it in its location or transfer to quarantine area?

It depends on the product.  If it is an investigational use only product (IUO) or some sort of product that is part of a clinical trial, then place in quarantine and do not discard until the sponsor has provided instructions as well as taken accountability.  

For commercially used products, follow your company's standard operating procedures.  This generally includes discarding the product and noting the inventory.

I discard expired products. Because on expiry it is not good to retain them.
