That a special technical question, it is well known that Contrast bath is a part of PT modalities, used commonly for the whole body, or specifically for a certain part of the body, plus, from a clinical point of view it`s used either for patients (physical lesion, disease, contractures..etc) or clients (aiming to gain release, relaxation...etc), as well as, for specific aims like controlling parasympathatic portion of the nervous lesions and hypertension plus other release forms aiding emotional release and other complementary forms of PT. Furthermore, it is well stated that Contrast Baths has a specific indications and well confirmed contraindications. In addition, it`s important never to be prolonged in duration or given to uncontrolled persons or subjects who have a red flag sign. In TMQ concept, it is a must to care for infection control and follow a standardized procedures plus, care for emergency procedures, especially while dealing with pediatrics. In general, be from12 upto20 minutes and for clients not more than45 minutes plus for neurological persons "for spaciticity or ataxic or others" not more than35 minutes any way. so it is a must.
