I have to disagree with all the answers that said money generating. You could think of sales as a box with two inputs and one output. The two inputs are building relations and providing excellent service. If these two factors are done properly then the natural output or outcome is making money. If you think only of making money you will fall in the dilemma most sales people complain from, that they do everything but there is always something that makes them unable to finally close the deal and sales figures are not satisfying. Yes of course you have to make money but how? by focusing on building relations based on trust and providing quality service and products. If these two things are done you will find that generating money becomes a natural and easy outcome. This is what sales people have to understand.
Obviously in the business of money generating.Sales team remain engaged in building relationships and providing excellent customer service for generating sales and making money.

There is no wrong or right answer to this question. All three options are linked.
If you offer good service, you build a relationship and when you build relationship, business generates money.
I pushed the LIKE button to all answers as I believe all answers are good from the way you look at it. I personally believe that it is all about money, but the answer to this question is Building relationships because Relationships in business is a treasure.
Of course sales employees are accountable for their sales results, but if they keep the money as target, they will start to work on a day-to-day basis without knowing how will they sell after few months.
Building good relationships will bring money on the short term as well as long term.
A., but as Mr. Zafar has said, really B! You can have a passable relationship, or even not a great one with a customer, but you need to generate money.
Building Relationship.
Without CRM there is no keeping and acquiring of customers, there is no money, there is no business.
Every organization for its survival and operations need money. Its not an NGO that it will only work for others. So, organizations are there to generate money and that can be done in a better way by building relationship and better services. Means relationship building and servicing are tools that leads to money generation.
