Should B2B Sales Manager change Industry sectors or they should be in same industry?

If I am in the position, I will remain in the same industry but after a comfortable experience, I will start my own retail business in the same field B2C.

DEPENDS ON HIS CHOICE............ REST AGREED WITH MR.PADMAKUMAR........

It is purely an individual's wish  whether he needs to change or no. Otherwise there is no need for a B2B sales Manager to change. he can very well lead a successful career in the same field.

It depends on the situation. If the current industry sector is profitable, why the change? Why not even expanding to another sector?
