If a restaurant is serving bad food then it should close.
In case of bad service then the employees must be either notified or removed.
Actually any sector can have mistakes but not restaurants.
Free bill and perhaps an invitation for another dinner (for free)
preferably change the name of restaurant and should re-promote their restaurant with good offers and discount price assuring of good food and service. Also can make some changes in staff and appoint some new staff especially management staff.
Provide special dish for free
Apologize for the inadvertent error and promise that separates the idler and served other free of charge and whether the complaint because of taunts service worker and deduct it in front of the client so I feel there is a strict management does not accept the error
-bad service is not acceptable if you want to provide excellent dinning experience , but at worst if happen mistake with service you can promote( bill discount or free desert , wine , or beverage)
-if it relating to bad food it will be more difficult that case require high level of apologize.....that you have immediately to replace the food with other or free dinning bill ....
For bad service or bad food, Manager of that restaurant should apologize in the first instance, second should deal with that customer himself, by offering the following,
1)A better location within the restaurant if available & a free meal served in his presence.
2)Give assurance to offer the customer a better service on the next visit.
