Engage with your customer or client build rapport, ensure them you understand how valuable their time is and the show appreciation. Be the customer, ask yourself how would you feel if you were on the opposite side, what your expectations would be? Remember a time you didn't like customer service from a particular incident and try avoid recreating that moment with your own customersً. Be honest and allow them to criticise the service whether good or bad, don't focus your energy on sales but focus on obtaining and retaining clients, show empathy towards them. If a product is not suitable justify your reasons professionally with knowledge and share your true experiences of products with them, suggest products that they will benefit from and explain how. To win a customer'a satisfaction and boost your sales you need to be firstly confident within your role, know your products enhance your knowledge on them, cross selling and up selling are beneficial skills to have.
