If a company's reputation is under stake because of non hr related issues, then how a quality HR professional can make a difference ?

A company is associated with various stakeholders for instance labourforce or Human resources & management, suppliers, directors, sponsors, intermediaries & environmental factors (PESTEL). If the company's reputation is at stake for reasons not associated with Human resources like you say; it means that the problem falls in the other above mentioned areas thus the manager has to investigate independently to determine the route cause of the problem because without knowing the exact route cause, you can't develop or tailor solutions to eliminate the problem. You have to know the exact disease, where it is located, its symptoms & them treat it or prescribe the right medication

HR professionals than make a difference by the following ways:

-to make employees more competent that no one can ask you that fault is your

- include employees in your planning rather than giving them solutions so, your HR quality enhance, by doing this employees will efficiently as well effectively achieve the organization goals and the HR professionals in this way can curtail the bad reputation of the organization

-for increasing the repu of the company HR professionals should provide both the emotional and instrumental support to those employees who have issues with someone or something ..... so, when those employees issues will be resolved employees can better perform that will also definitely increase companys repu.

some other tips can be:

-hr professionals should motivated employees

- use opinion leaders

use transformational leadership

use individual perspectives etc there are also many ways to improve but the most important i mentioned above.
