Yes, in today's competitive world, where every brand is working hard to protect their brand image, only QUALITY can be a criteria that can save a brand. I agree that profit making is also one of the key components in running operations but if quality declines, then sales are down, profit margins are less. No company can earn profits if they fail to protect the quality of their product(s).
