How would be your reaction if you discovered your son has a tendency to Atheism?

i am not specialized in religion science but i think most of people tending to atheism are not aware of atheism, same for believer of one god and his book.

our case is about faith's pillars and why it got broken totally/partially, solution is to find a model to expose to our son to be follow; which is believe in the creator and always pray for him, and he can tel examples how god already answered his prayer in life.

I believe that we have a duty to lead our children on a straight and narrow path teaching them all the necessary skills to be become decent and honest human beings. However we can only take them part of the way down this path and when they are old enough and capable enough then they will make their own decisions in life. Of course we hope that they will follow our examples (hopefully good examples) but in religion as in everything else, they will eventually make their own decisions.
