You will develop speaking, writing, listening, and negotiating skills, as well as the media expertise necessary for success in the rapidly changing technological environment A communication plan, like the project plan, is a necessary part of a project. It's been said that communication is the lifeblood of projects.  and it is what project managers spend the majority of their time doing. Good communication is vital to the success of your project. Based on PMBOK, Communications Management describes the processes concerning communication mechanisms of a project, namely, Communication Planning, Performance Reporting, and Information Distribution.

A good project Communications Management Plan ensures that you have effective communications throughout the life of your project. Everyone knows that80% of a Project Manager's time is spent communicating; therefore, to be an effective Project Manager you must have good communications skills.

Communications Management Plan sets the communications framework for this project. It will serve as a guide for communications throughout the life of the project and will be updated as communication needs change. This plan identifies and defines the roles of persons involved in this project. It also includes a communications matrix which maps the communication requirements of this project. An in-depth guide for conducting meetings details both the communications rules and how the meetings will be conducted, ensuring successful meetings. A project team directory is included to provide contact information for all stakeholders directly involved in the project.

Communications is by far the most important driver in project management and more often than not it is the least adequately planned part of the project and least effectively carried out.

Particularly in project management, communication plan is life line of the project. Theory suggest that a project manager probably spent70% of his time in communication with project primary and secondary stakeholders. Communication management provide you a plan for up coming activities and avoid unpleasant event. E.g. you are working on a multi billion project in a Liberia, and a sponsor is CEO of some multinational organization from USA. You need to have the person in your board meeting to make it more convenient and to assure presence it is better to provide a communication plan on the beginning of the  project so everyone can manage their activities and be available when required, might be he is having important business and unable to come. Communication management also helps to mitigate risks. When I though about communication management the first though that rush in my mind is communication plan which consist information regarding all the communication activities
