Performance management should not a be a year end process but a continuous one focused on1) clearly defining the performance management objectives2) undertaking regular performance measurement with a view3) improving the overall performance at the individual , operational and strategic / corporate level. The objective is improving the performance while the same is being carried out and not once the same is over- the period end. I hope this is helpful.
