Mission is generally describe the main objective, purpose of an establishment / organisation. While vision is set by the promoters & BoD where they would like to see this organisation in near and long term future (goals).
Both are equally important in the Corporate world, in order for an organisation to perform as per the powerful vision and the high mission to be achieved by all employees.
What is corporate culture? Experts define it as the sum of beliefs, principles, values, traditions and attitudes that define a company and make it unique from everyone else. When corporate culture is discussed, the point is the character of the company which embodies the mission and long-term vision of the founders of the organization. The values of the organization culture are very powerful since it deeply influences the managerial behavior and ethical principles of the company which determines its future effectiveness and overall success.
Mission is a statement of purpose that clearly spells out the reason for the existence of an organisation whilst vision is a statement of future target that helps to mobilize desired resources towards meeting promises in the mission.
Mission: Is what you are going to provide for your customers.
Vision: Is what the Company wants to be Ultimately.
