Of course. I consider it to be the responsibility of the company.
Yes I agree
In many organizations people with special needs work and excel, respect them for their talents and learn from them how to overcome difficult situations. They exhibit highest discipline at work, very responsible and have all excellent qualities above par. As far as possible we should accommodate them for suitable positions and consider it a social responsibility and human ethics.
I definitely agree that companies should hire people with special needs. In many cases I have seen people with special needs that are very talented and passionate about their jobs, even if he were just a greeter at a department store. A person with a speech impediment can be very good with his hands, a person who cannot walk can be a very good at conflict resolution. I've seen blind women who can sew garments better than a lady with her sight. They truly are special in their own way that we normal people seem to take for granted.
Every single human being in this world has equal rights for the job. There is no truth in the view that people with disability generally have a poor work ethic. Many are actually more dedicated as securing the job in the first place may not have been easy and they are glad to be working. Most people with disability have the same levels of work motivation as their co-workers and others. Indeed many people in receipt of the Disability Support Pension are very motivated to find and keep a job.
Yes. As mentioned by Mr. Venkitaraman private sectors should consider this as social responsibility.
Definitely yes
Absolutely agree !
Tunisia ratified the CRPD( Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities) and the OP on2 April2008.
Yeas, For Example My Manager is Head of Business Development, one day come someone for opportunity to work with us, when he meet the owner:
The Owner ask him to meet My Manager coz he is the eye of the company.
No I am against being obliged. Companies should hire the right people for the job, the ones who have the skills, abilities and qualifications to do the job and fit the company culture. This should be the ONLY recruitment criteria to be applied to select candidates. If the right one for the job happens to be of special needs so be it and welcome, if not then so be it too.
What I mean is companies should not judge people of special needs and refuse to hire them but also should not be obliged to hire them unless they are qualified for the job. In other words all people should be treated equally by HR and judged only by qualifications and skills.
