Actually it depends on people expectation and personality. Highly ambitious prefers option A and low ambitious people prefer option B.
Happiness never come from money and work condition, its come from your heart, it is your self belief which make you happy or Sad. I believe if you compare your self with others (their salary, their job type), you will be never happy in your life.
Be yourself, believe in your self, thanks to God for what you have.
Generally speaking, there's two types of people here..one who sees money as happiness and the other who sees it as a distraction from an easy life..it's really a preference :)
I for one believe that, both can be happier or totally stressed irrespective of salary levels and the stress levels. Salary and the work conditions need not be the influencers for a mature mind
I believe if we are generally happy we could be happy at work as well irrespective of the dynamics of a prevailing situation. To be happy at work we depend on many extraneous influences. We have no control over what is external to a great extent. However we have more control over ourselves and the ability to feel happiness from within if we really seek it.
Kindly allow me to invoke the words of enlightened master Sri Sri Ravishankar of Art of Living
quote
“ In our general education, we are taught many things. We learn to read and write, we learn something of science, maths, geography and history . Unfortunately the most fundamental knowledge has not been taught. How to manage one’s own mind and emotions to develop and enjoy the fullest of what human life can offer. No other knowledge is more valuable in determining one’s quality of life.
Young children who have not yet accumulated a lot of stress, exhibit an abundance of energy, enthusiasm, profound joy and unconditional love. These qualities in an innocent child demonstrate the truest , unadulterated , essence of humanness.
As we age, stress accumulates as toxins in the body and as negative emotions in the mind…… As such the mind is drawn toward distractions and our attention habitually focuses more on the past or the future and less on the present moment. Most of the time the mind is caught up regretting something from the past or worrying about the future; constantly planning how to be happy in the future not realizing this prevents us from being happy now
If you observe the mind, you will see how little the attention is fully in the present moment. Being in the present is not only being what is happening around us but also being aware of how are feeling inside……. .
Cultural influences further condition us to focus outside of ourselves to find happiness, or love or to place blame when we have feelings of anger, jealousy or other negative emotions. Since real fulfillment can never be found outside ourselves, continuing to focus our attention in that direction leads to an endless cycle of desires.
Often, people continually hope some state of happiness will come in the future once some “thing” has been accomplished. The mind keeps thinking “ I will be happy when I finally have that”…… People think they will be happy when they have more money, more fame, a better job, a better house, when they retire etc. Being happy is put off to the future, but happiness cannot be experienced in the future, only in the present.
When a desire is fulfilled, we may feel happy for a time, but another desire comes and again we start looking to the future. No matter whatever we achieve profound fulfilment does not come……. We need to break the habit of looking for happiness in the future and be happy with whatever we have right now. …….
Ultimately, the depth of joy and love you experience in this life is determined not by what you have, but by how well you know yourself and how well you have removed the obstacles that prevent you from experiencing the true nature of yourself……what we need is what we already have….. joy and love are not moods we can try to adopt. Joy and love is our essential essence beyond mere emotion and beyond mind.

I am of the opinion that, It is the bounden duty of every person in an organization to try and make our work place a happy place. It is us the people on whose shoulders this responsibility lies. We can achieve this goal firstly by being happy ourselves. When we arrive at work, our effort is towards arriving in a happy frame of mind so that quality work gets done with positive results for everybody. If we are unhappy before we arrive at our work place where we may be spending more time than in our homes, we are negatively impacting the workplace as we are not at our best!
People with, easy job's, with less salary.
