Employees’ satisfaction and contentment plays a vital role in the success of any business or organization. I wouldn't call it a bother since measuring job satisfaction for employees allows management to know where they stand in the market or in the organization. It allows management to know who needs training, who needs to rotate positions, who needs a promotion, etc. Employees make it happen and management needs to know who is doing their job to keep the organization running successfully.
