What do you prefer to deal with your work team as a Manager or as a leader? and why?

I prefer deal with the work team as a leader. Because the leader is one of the team and closer to the hearts. He deal with them as human, not as a machines. The leader can complete the tasks and get the best results via participation and discussion and direction of his team to complete the tasks. Also He does not force them to perform tasks in accordance with dry systems that can not be discussed and which kills creativity, such as manager's dealing method. Leader creates a new generation capable of innovation, creativity and excellence, and business development. Finally the leadership mean humanity in good dealing and management.

It depends on the project size, duty, budget, and responsibility. Project Manager follows a tactical approach to manage the project, while project leader follows a strategic approach to lead the project resources by allocating and optimizing them between many related sub projects.

i agree with Mr. Bassam Mujammami As a leader you are closer to the team,you can motivate them better and they will react as you aim to , in addition , they become more loyal to you and negotiate you without

as professionals sometimes will give you more than you expected. This according to my experience

I agree with Bassam, a leader will take the time to tell you what to do and explain the objective of the project whereas the manager will give orders (demands). A leader has patience to solve any obstacles, understanding of different peoples and their abilities.

Team Leader : As leader will manage as well .

As a Manager because of the direct results that i will achieve, unlike leaders, managers plan,strategize,prioritize and await immediate results
