What is the EDP auditors?

I am not an IT specialist, but know that EDP has to do with analyzing, controlling and evaluating internal operational and security systems.

Auditing security and control.

A person who analyses system functions and operations to determine adequate security and controls. An EDP analyst evaluates systems and operational procedures and reports findings to senior management. He writes ad hoc report programs using 4GLs and specialised audit software.
