According to me you can't divide 'Motivation' with 'Smartness' thus view is it's Both.
An individual who is Self Motivated to reach his goal & is always ready to face criticism & challenges in life to achieve the set goals is also an Smart Individual. :-)
For sure that motivated because he has the ability to rise challenge bar in each & every time & is a self developed person while the smart person sometimes is not utilizing his intelligence towards achieving the Target .
they both can be very successful in their professional fields, but i think that the wisest has more chances of being the most successfu.
Motivated.
It is a lot more important to be motivated than smart. A motivated individual will make the effort to understand what is expected from him/her and work to his/her best potential to achieve positive results.
A demotivated smart individual may not be willing to apply their knowledge or not be willing to go the extra mile for the company's benefit.
