The law may have been set for everyone to abide by - and the prescribed punishment for the crime is a predefined punishment - and the punishment may vary in each crime according to the opinion of the judge - according to the provisions of the law - and we try to convince the judge to rule the minimum penalty - and to make the punishment a turning point In life - for a person to return to his past life and abide by the rules and not infringe on the freedoms of others. 

E-learning may generate feelings of loneliness that may result in a lack of completion & performance. Video conferencing, social media, and discussion forums, membership in a local library etc. can be counted as solutions. (Ref. : I am maintaining and developing Moodle modules for our college.)
