because companies need some one to start to work from day one and it will be easier to get some one who worked before
but it is not always the case, sometime they need fresh graduate to work in
Work experience is a perfect way to sample all the career options out there. It’s a way of exploring different jobs without actually committing to anything.
It’s the best way to get a real sense of your chosen industry. You’ll get to speak to employees and ask them questions. You won’t know what it’s like until you get closer to the action.
Doing work experience shows passion and interest. Evidence that you have done work experience shows the employer that you are motivated to get into a chosen career and that you’ve done your homework.
Experience is important for a candidate and it can give priority in selection.
But honestly i am against that restriction because mostly i have seen peoples with capability of learning and they have also proved their self after being hired for else profession.
In my opinion main thing is hardworking nature a resume shows how much qualities and guts a person have, so its not so important that a person is experienced in same field or not.
Its also because every company is having its different rules and criteria that's why you will not get priority. I will like to share my personal experience. I am having experience in handling of administration duties as i am experienced on government level under ministry of interior. But that is not enough whenever i apply they like to treat as i am fresher and the priority is mostly given to local based experienced peoples.
Why the organizations treat like that?
Every organization is having same kind of departments than why local experience is so important?
