How long you should experiment before I demand results from a marketing strategy/campaign?

Each marketing strategy/campaigns has specific goals which defines the duration of campaign activities.
For example, if the goal of your marketing strategy is to generate leads then you may see results with one year of implementing your marketing mix depending on your product or service type.
