Most of us have too much to do in a business day, what 'best practices' do you apply from the very moment you reach the office?
1. Arrive early
2. Put personal items in lockable drawer
3. Prepare meeting room for meetings.
4. Organize paperwork prepared the day before for meetings etc
5. Check voicemail for messages.
6. Check emails - urgent items actioned.
7. Check calendar and tasks/targets to be met for the day.
8. Have a herbal tea and relax for15 mins. By that time, colleagues will start to arrive stressed as they have to start work straight away. I greet them with a big smile and I'm ready for the day. :)
We start the day by checking collection for the day and planning the fund requirements for the day and the coming days. Then we have a team meeting to plan the tasks for the day and for the days to come
