Is it necessary to download all the plug-ins? Are the results much better?

there are thousands of plug ins for sketchup, i think it will take you long and encounter a lot of problems if you download it all.
download only the plug-ins that you find useful in your modeling.
there are some plug ins that are not compatible with other plug ins so read the description first before installing.
