Does the type of job effects the productivity of an employee?

Its a very famous rule of HR " right person for right place" if the type of job differ from person he can't produce better result so the productivity of employee can't be as per requirement.

Productivity is linked to motivation to a large extent, and yes it is effected by the type of job on is doing.
for example if someone is working as technician at an organization his productivity will be more if he enjoys and likes his job but if he is stuck there till he finds a better job that he is interested in, well there goes the productivity.....

In one word , The Jobs differs But the employee is the same , meaning whatever the Job every one Must work hard as long he / she accept to work even he / she didn't like and looking for other Job as long he / she get paid from the job type he / she must work till the last day of these type job and I think most of us know these words ( If you don't do what you love try to love what you do )

One emplyee can be terrible in one job and excellent in another.

I would disagree with khaled ibrahim's answer...hard working and productivity is2 different thinks...you can be a hardworker but maybe will produce less than someone else who is more productive than you, and maybe he will be working less ours than you...i believe that as more pleasant are with your job so more productive you will be...
