I would say, if an organization can foresee the developments yet to arise and can steer processes in the direction which will result in longer sustainability, then, that would be the major success factor.

Tell and inspire from the top and show example.
Handle and approach the staff with care, they have feelings.
Engage and inspire managers and supervisors so that they can inspire and involve their teams and find the strengths of their team members.
Keep the staff informed and use different information channels.
Listen to the staff and listen further, silence is a warning signal.
Welcome suggestions and reward usefull suggestions and implement those to encourage further suggestions.
