Or
#cat /etc/selinux/config
getenforce command will help you checking whether SElinux enabled, disabled or in permissive mode
#sestatus and #getenforce will show permissive, enabled or disabled mode
#getenforce display the current selinux status
#getenforce, #sestatus, cat /etc/selinux/config
By typing command sestatus in command shell
you can check the status with the command and by reading a file also:
1.) #getenforce
2.) #vim /etc/selinux/config
#getenforce
or
#vim /etc/selinux/config
getenforce or check /etc/selinux/config
#Sestatus ----DIsplay the selinux status

#getenforce
OR
#/etc/selinux/config
go to the /etc/selinux/config
check whether it is enabled or disable
