Select your data and then Click on Insert Tab and Then Charts & Graphs. after inserting you can redesign your graph/chart in New appeared Tab Called Designing.

Like my friend stated above thats all you have to do.But, be sure to use the right chart to present your data.In some instances one type of chart is more relevant as compared to the other.So make sure you understand what sort of data you have got. Dont, forget to play around with the design tab to give your chart a much more professional look.
