How MS excel 2007 file is converted into MS excel 2003?

choose (save as : excel97 -2003 workbook )

There is a file extension (.XLS) in Save As window.
File => Save As => "Microsoft Excel97 and2003".

Open your file in excel2007 then,  Press F12 then Click on Save as type, Dropdown list appear, Chose Excel97-2003 workbook. 

 

 

in ms-office2007, Click of office button and save as excel97-2003

Press F12, Save as window will appear then type .xls after file name or select Excel2003 in drop down

Open the file that you want to convert, and click File(Round Office Orb button) and move your pointer toSave As, and from the list of options select Excel97-2003 Workbook.

Microsoft Excel2007 Contains file as .xlsx & Microsoft Excel2003 Contains file as .xls If you want to change the file then (If the file is not open): then keep select the file which you want to change then press F2 then change the file by removing last x .
If the file is already in use then go to office button, select save as, one window will appear then select save as type Excel97-2003 workbook and then give the location where you want to save the file

You can convert it in2 ways.

1. Open file and then Click office button and select Save As and same file with "Microsoft Excel97 and2003"

OR

2. Convert it online by searching sites on google.com.

Simply click file>option>save> chose "Excel97-2003 Workbook" from Save files in this format  dropdown list then all your files will be97-2003 format of Excel
