just type m, make the selection and move the objects. Off course you can tap move also , but I like to use the first letters of the command, works fine for me... And that's what AutoCAD is, what suits you well, use it and AutoCAD also has to ability ti adjust everything as you want it.

In auto cad if you drag and drop a txt file it will convert the file automatically and into MTEXT format.
If you drag and drop the pdf or any image file it will attach as External Reference file.
Just pick any element in file Press and hold the right click button you can copy move or Paste as Block the object.
To enable the drag n drop in auto cad open the options dialog box and in that pick the selection tab and just click the noun/verb button.
If it is not enabled then you can not drag and drop elements within the file.
