If you want to be a PMP, or a MCP, then you sit for a National Exam created by a recognized body.
True, the Microsoft Exams are "only" Microsoft Certifications, but they do carry tremendous credibility.
The same is true for the PMI "PMP" and related exams.
I have yet to find a nationally recognized exam that certifies me with a "belt" in MS Project.
The closest I can find is a training provider who give their own exam for "black belt".
That is not a certficiation in my mind.
You can't study up on your own, or take a class at "Provider X" and then go sit for their "belt exam." If I am wrong, someone please set me straight.
PMI also offers a Scheduling Professional Certification (PMI-SP).
I don't think PMPs really need it as the material is all the same as Chapter6 from the PMBOK, that's my opinion.
There is the Amercian Management Association, a competitor to PMI, you may want to check that out.
Additionally, there is an Earned Value (EV) certificaiton that is a national exam offered only twice a year.
If you do any government work at all, I'd look at it.
It is a product of AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Estimating)

Guild of Project certifications i.e black,, red and orange are widely recognized certificates in Project Management.

As per the list provided by you, the priority is as follows.

 PMP, CCP and Prince 2

It is better to aim for a high level of certification i.e GPC ,however you can start with PMP & CCP .

Just with a certificate you cannot be a sucessfull project manager. Its about how you are able to implement what you have learnt through certifications and more of experience.

PMP,Prince2,Six Sigma etc will teach you how to track and keep control on the project you are implementing. PMP, Prince2 ,Six Sigma are all effective certificates and will help you understand how you can implement the project. Project management can be done in your own ways its all about how much you are involved in it and how are you tracking it.

And remember by using PMP and PRINCE2 together you are taking advantage of the two most respected project management approaches in the world.

Te be in General the biggest difference I found is the role of project management. In PMP the PM is responsible for the result of a project. If something goes wrong - blame the PM. If the project is behind the schedule or overruns its budget - blame the PM. That's the fundamental rule of PMBOK. (and I totally agree with it).

In PRINCE2 the PM is a middleman between the project and its control board. If something goes wrong the PM has to raise the problem to the board (upper management). Then they make a decision and return it back to PM for execution.

In any case I would recommend to pass them both for your portfolio and your self-education.
