What's redundant task?

A task/work package which is not requiired any more to achieve the deliverable. Not required for the project completion

A task which has little or no impact on intended end result.

A task performed on behalf of a project but does not serve a meaningful purpose at any of the stages of the project and also does not form part of the project is a redundant task.

A task which can be eliminated without affecting the outcome.

Redundant task dependency has nothing to do with project progress.

What is redundant

Redundant task is a project task / activity that you actually don't need and that will not benefit the project in any way. Also, if you don't accomplish it, it will not harm your project either.

The redundancy which occurs during the determination of task dependencies does not impact project schedule.
